Pricing mechanics

Fleet bills hosted root workflow starts, not seats, roles, steps, retries, or outcomes. The monthly/annual toggle above only changes the large card prices; both intervals are listed here.

Free: $0. 500 hosted workflow starts. No credit card. When the 500 starts are used, history stays readable; new hosted starts require a paid plan.

Business: $299/org/month or $2,990/year (two months free). Unlimited users and repositories, 25,000 monitored hosted workflow starts per UTC month, 90-day run history.

Enterprise: custom annual contract. Volume, retention, identity, deployment, and support are contracted. No public list price.

A hosted root workflow counts once when Fleet durably authorizes its first step, even if the run later fails. Steps, retries, reviews, approvals, fan-out branches, waits, and resuming the same run do not multiply usage. Drafts, previews, validation failures, unclaimed pending runs, starts denied before admission, and Fleet failures before that authorization do not count. Choosing Run again from beginning creates a new root workflow and counts again.

Paid allowances are monitored. Fleet alerts administrators at 50%, 80%, and 100%. There is no automatic overage charge, no automatic interruption, and no published per-start overage price. If usage repeatedly exceeds the plan's operating range, Fleet contacts you. Model-provider fees are separate.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Fleet pricing and plans

Is there a free plan?

Yes. New accounts start on Free: 500 hosted workflow starts, no credit card, no calendar cutoff. When the 500 starts are used, existing history remains readable but new hosted workflow starts require a paid plan.

How does pricing work?

Business is $299 per organization per month or $2,990/year with unlimited users and repositories. Enterprise is a custom annual contract. Model-provider charges are separate.

What exactly counts as a workflow start?

A hosted root workflow counts once when Fleet durably authorizes its first step. It counts even if your workflow later fails. Steps, retries, reviews, approvals, fan-out branches, waits, and resuming the same run do not multiply usage. Choosing Run again from beginning creates a new root workflow and counts again.

What does not count?

Drafts, previews, validation failures, pending runs that are never claimed, starts denied before admission, and Fleet failures before durable first-step authorization do not count.

What happens when a paid account reaches its monthly allowance?

The allowance is monitored. Fleet alerts account administrators at 50%, 80%, and 100%, but does not automatically charge overages or interrupt workflows. There is no published per-start overage price. We will contact you if usage repeatedly exceeds the plan's operating range.

Can I self-host?

Absolutely. Install the Fleet binary on your infrastructure and your source code stays private. Coding agents run through Claude Code or OpenCode — including Claude, Codex, Grok, or any other model those harnesses support. Outbound dependencies include the model backend, GitHub, app.fleetctl.ai after registration, anonymous opt-out PostHog CLI analytics, and any connected Linear or Jira provider.

How does Fleet affect my AI tool costs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)?

Fleet is billed separately from your model provider. Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, or other model usage charges still apply and are not included in Fleet's subscription price.

Can I try Fleet on one team before rolling out company-wide?

Yes. Free is built for a real workflow evaluation. Business removes the user and repository limits for an organization-wide rollout.

What happens to my data?

Fleet's data plane (the locally installed binary, agents, and SQLite database) runs on your infrastructure. Your source code stays private — it goes only to the model backend you choose and GitHub, never to Fleet. The dashboard at app.fleetctl.ai receives operational metadata and usage metering only.

Is Fleet SOC 2 compliant?

Fleet is designed to support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar frameworks. The locally installed binary runs on your infrastructure, source code stays private, and the tamper-evident audit log records workflow markers, approvals, decisions, and other managed actions. Contact us for a detailed security questionnaire response.

How does the free tier work?

Free includes 500 hosted workflow starts. No credit card is required. When the 500 starts are used, your history remains available read-only until you choose Business or an Enterprise contract.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to the new features. When downgrading, your current billing cycle completes before the change takes effect.

Do you offer educational or nonprofit discounts?

Contact sales with your organization details. Any education or nonprofit pricing is provided through an individual written offer rather than as a generally available plan entitlement.
