A slot is one parallel agent. If you need 10 agents running concurrently, that's 10 slots at $49/slot/month. Agents that run sequentially (e.g., via cron) share slots. Scale up or down anytime — you only pay for what you use.

Absolutely. Fleet is a single binary that runs on your own infrastructure — self-hosted and local-first; your source code stays private. Claude Code's model backend is configurable — use the Anthropic API directly, or point it at Amazon Bedrock / Google Vertex to keep model traffic in your own cloud; enterprise customers get help restricting outbound traffic to just the services you connect — the model backend, GitHub, and any work-item provider (Linear/Jira).
